Open or Closed Spelter Sockets are ideal for ropes that are stiff or where bending in a short radius is difficult. Safe working loads to meet demands of High Performance Wire Rope with standard industry dimensions.

Open & Closed Swage Sockets are recommended for use on 6x19 or 6x36 IWRC Regular Lay Rope and are not recommended on Fibre Core or Langs Lay ropes. When properly installed, they have an efficiency rating of 100% based on the catalog breaking strength of the rope.





Wedge sockets are primarily used by crane operators and can be used on Standard 6 Strand, High Performance or Non-Rotating Ropes. They have an efficiency of 80% based on the catalog breaking strength of the rope.
